There is a lot of history in these 100-year-old walls. Built in 1906, our lodge was designed by Bernard Maybeck, a 20th century architect known for creating some of the most treasured buildings in the San Francisco Bay Area.
For more than 60 years, five families shared the lodge as a vacation home until 1959 when it became an alcohol treatment center. Over the next two decades, Azure Acres began treating all forms of drug and alcohol addiction, becoming more comprehensive and individualized with time.
In our 60+ years of providing residential addiction treatment in Northern California, one thing has not changed: our steady commitment to the 12-Step principles and to addiction recovery as an exercise of mind, body and spirit.
We welcome you to be a part of Azure Acres’ history.
