Andrea’s early life was profoundly shaped by a difficult struggle with substance addiction, but in 2016, she made a life-altering decision to pursue recovery. This transformative choice not only led her to long-term sobriety but also ignited her commitment to supporting others facing similar challenges.
With a strong educational foundation in business administration and behavioral health, Andrea has served her community in various impactful roles, including mental health counselor, domestic violence victim’s advocate, and peer support specialist. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Master’s in Business Administration, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Driven by a passion for efficiently managing administrative resources, Andrea empowers front-line teams to deliver exceptional client care. Her leadership is also deeply rooted in fostering a workplace culture centered around learning, growth, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Since 2021, she has served as the Human Resources Director at an Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital in Massachusetts. Prior to this role, she has held various positions in Human Resources at recovery centers and large corporations. She brings a strong commitment to serving individuals in recovery from addiction, guiding her decisions as interim CEO to ensure the highest quality of care for those seeking treatment at Azure Acres.
In her free time, Andrea loves to ski, snowboard, skateboard, ice skate, and rollerblade. She has a 120lb mastiff/husky, Lebowski, who she brings everywhere with her!
