Bradly Snell, CADC III
Program Director
Brad Snell has been with Azure Acres since November 2015. He started out as an Evening Counselor but was quickly elevated to a supervisory role in recognition of his leadership skills and excellent rapport with clients. After establishing his proficiency in counseling, Brad was promoted to Clinical Supervisor, then Milieu Manager, Program Manager, and most recently, Program Director.
Brad has earned two Associate Degrees in Human Services, one in Advocacy and one in Alcohol and Other Drug Studies (AODS). He completed both degrees with Highest Honors. Specializing in Co-Occurring Disorders (COD), Brad spent 9 years in the field of non-profit behavioral healthcare, working in Forensic Mental Health with the County of Sonoma. Utilizing his education and training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Brad was instrumental in helping develop Azure’s COD curriculum and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).
Passionate about treatment outcomes, Brad focuses his energy on enhancing the one-to-one human connection between clients and staff. He believes that when people come together to help one another, they create something that is greater than the sum of its parts and the results can lead to higher levels of functioning and greater success in life.
Azure’s mission is especially important to Brad because, in April 2009, he participated in the program as a client. He is now enjoying 13+ years of recovery and credits Azure for his transformed life.
