Celena Aguilar, SUDRC
Case Management Specialist
Celena Aguilar is a dedicated case manager at Azure Acres, having joined the team in July 2024. She obtained an SUDRC credential with aspirations of obtaining her certification as a substance use disorder counselor by attending the Addiction Training Institute.
Beginning her career at Athena house, initially she was a client and was presented with an opportunity to give back to her community in 2021, since then she has developed passion, enthusiasm, care for those she comes in contact with regardless of their background, and a strong work ethic that continues to grow as she does. Celena has acquired many skills and achieved many personal goals since beginning her journey in the treatment field. Most importantly, she has found her purpose; to help those who struggle with substance use and mental health disorders. Celena enjoys empowering others in all aspects of their life. With her attitude of gratitude she models that “anyone who goes through trials and tribulations are able to make it out of the trenches with hard work, consistency, dedication and support.” Her motivation to continue to strive to be a better, authentic version of herself is surrounding herself with family and friends, listening to various genres of music, venturing different fashion styles, watching movies, learning new things and building connections with anyone she comes in contact with.
