Ciera Perez, AMFT

Ciera Perez joined the Azure Acres team in January 2024 as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. In the hopes of helping people overcome their battles with mental health, Ciera attended Dominican University of California where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Masters in Counseling Psychology. Ciera was born and raised in Sonoma County and has been serving the people in her community for almost 4 years now.
Ciera began her journey of working in the mental health field in 2020 at Newport Academy, a high-risk female youth residential treatment center, where she was a care coordinator. Ciera quickly developed a passion for working with teenagers who struggled with addiction and mental health.
After gaining experience working with teenagers, Ciera took her skills and knowledge to Mark West Union School District, where she worked as a mental health counselor for children in elementary and middle school. Ciera facilitated daily groups, presented weekly in classrooms incorporating social-emotional learning and offered 1:1 sessions for students.
Wanting to gain more experience with adults, families, and couples, Ciera took an associate position at SOS Community Counseling, where she served the community offering sliding scale fees.
Ciera is honored to be a part of the Azure Acres team, where she hopes to assist individuals in reaching their recovery goals and healing those vulnerable parts of themselves.
