Case Management Specialist
Karyn Tadlock joined Azure Acres as a Case Management Specialist in July of 2024. Karyn is a dedicated professional with 12 years of experience in program management, staff supervision and direct client counseling. Karyn holds an Associate in Science, Chemical Dependency Counselor and Associate in Science, Chemical Dependency Awareness from Woodland Community College. Karyn is a certified CADCII Counselor with California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals and is committed to furthering her education in the future.
Karyn began her professional career as an outpatient counselor before moving into case management at Bridges Inc. in Sacramento where she collaborated with Child Protective Services and Dependency Drug Courts to facilitate the successful adjustment and ongoing recovery efforts of her clients fighting for the reintegration of their families with CPS involvement. Karyn moved on to spend 3 years working with some of the toughest and most challenging populations in her field in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment program at California State Prison Solano. As Program Director she managed daily program operations and provided strategic oversight, ensuring effective delivery of services to incarcerated individuals.
Karyn was inspired to branch out in her field and is excited to be a part of the team at Azure Acres. She is passionate about supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. Her approach combines evidence based practices with compassionate care. Karyn’s goal is to focus on each person’s unique needs and strengths and she hopes to foster an atmosphere encouraging success.
